Business Office Clerk - Part Time

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the part-time position of Business Office Clerk, up to 20 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Strong computer skills

Strong organizational skills

Adequate business math skills

Ability to work independently

Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English

Ability to work with diverse populations.        

Responsibilities

Cashier job duties:  Accept payments (cash, check, credit cards for tuition and fees, bookstore purchases); Enter payments on daily log and reconcile sales; Organize receipts and cash for deposits

Bookstore operation duties:  Maintain bookstore inventory; Communicate with instructors about bookstore inventory and process purchase requisitions for orders; Stock bookstore shelves and keep bookstore well maintained and organized.

Mail clerk duties:  Pick up incoming mail at post office and distribute, meter outgoing mail and take to the post office; Receive and record all deliveries and distribute to appropriate department; Answer incoming telephone calls, transfer lines, provide information to callers as needed

Other duties as assigned
