“We know that the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak has been causing a great deal of uncertainty, anxiety, and stress for students across Tennessee. The closings of colleges and many places of employment can lead to emotional and financial strain in addition to the physical health risks presented by the virus. The TBR System Office wants to provide the most up-to-date information about your local, state, and national support services to support you during this emergency situation.” Please click the link below to access a list of these resources.

----------------------------------March 16th 2020-------------------------------

While all TCAT Crump campuses are remaining open to serve our students, we are on extended spring break from classes. While this is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation that may change, at this time classes will resume March 23, 2020.

The health of our students, faculty and staff and your families are our top priority – along with our mission of Student Success and Workforce Development. Although we have not experienced any active Coronavirus cases on any of our campuses and the risk level in our communities remains low, we will continue to take steps that are consistent with local and state health guidance to reduce risks and protect our community. These steps include hospital-grade cleaning of all of our campus areas.

Faculty members are diligently preparing to move some course components online or planning alternate delivery methods. However, as a technical college, this is not practical for all courses or programs. Additionally, many of our students do not have internet access to continue their studies through online education. Therefore, we are also considering other methods of education.

As we look to the coming weeks, it will be time to think of our mission of Student Success and Workforce Development – and we may be called upon to roll up our sleeves and get to work in a new and challenging way to keep our communities moving forward. I have confidence that we can do this and that we will succeed.

Stephen Milligan, President

--------------------------March 15th, 2020 ----------------------------------------

As the Coronavirus situation rapidly changes, TCAT Crump's primary concern is the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and families. All TCAT students will be on extended spring break this coming week. At this time classes will resume March 23, 2020

---------------------------------------March 14th, 2020--------------------------------

TCAT Crump campuses will open at their normal schedules on March 16, 2020. Zero cases of COVID-19 have been reported to administration.

The college is concerned about the health of our students, instructors, and staff. Instructors have teaching plans ready to continue each student's education during this crucial time.

See you Monday!
